Description design and oversee annual work plans and overall strategy for working with small farmers; select and manage technical field staff to ensure that project goals and objectives are met; liaise with other component managers of this multifaceted project to ensure coordination; prepare weekly and quarterly progress reports and support the activities of the monitoring and evaluation team.
Qualifications 10+ years’ experience in production of a high value, exportable horticultural crop or crops; strong practical experience in implementing GlobalGAP, Fairtrade or other relevant quality certifications for horticultural exports; Masters or PhD in relevant field is preferred; familiar with recent advances in agriculture, as well as current issues impacting on the agricultural sector (e.g., climate change, decreasing water resources, etc.)

Other Skills university degree in relevant field and excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using MS Office applications is an essential job requirement.
