Description - Ensure that the requirements of DSD project Specific Quality Plans, Procedures, working Instructions, and Inspection & Test Plans, and also ensure that the requirements of applicable project Cods/ Standards/ Specifications, are understood, fully implemented and the requirements there of mentioned. - Implementing the approved quality control plan through the issuing of instructions to the QC technicians by using the proper methods and tests by Verify the in-process inspection upon workshop request according to ISO procedures - Monitoring different methods of testing on the fabricated and welded material - Monitoring the in-process inspection upon workshop request according to ISO procedures and the approved QC Plan. - Ensure that all reject reports/ NCRs/ Corrective actions, particularly those initiated by QC personnel, are timely action had been Done and closed out - Ensure, progressively the document controller complete handover dossiers/ data packs in preparation for eventual handover to the clients. - Ensure, Material test certificates (if applicable). - Ensure Statement of any non-destructive examination of base materials (if applicable). - Review and Ensure, NDE Reports (for inclusion in the final handover data packs) - Review and Ensure, Heat Treatment records (if applicable) - Sign the Final release notes after review the in progress quality reports register. - Review and Ensure, Certificate of acceptance by the Inspection Authority (if applicable) - Ensure the application of Procedures, Working Instructions and Specifications (Quality Manuals) - Ensure Copies of defects Reports, Concessions and Non-Conformance Reports. - Ensure, Metallurgical Reports (if applicable)
Qualifications - Qualified CWI or Cswip - familiar with NDT methods - minimum 7 years experience in field of QC of steel structure and plate work & piping prefer. - have knowledge of ISO and QMS and communication with others - Familiar with fabrication standard ASME,EN ,AISC &AWS - able to perform QC inspection reports and QC dossiers.
