Description —Oversees the daily accounting activities required to maintain the general ledger. —Supervises, directs, and reviews the work of the accounting staff (including, but not limited to Payables, receivables, general Ledger). —Manage customer and vendor account reconciliations, bank account statement reconciliations, check runs, accounts receivable transactions of Inter Company. —Fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, debt activity, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.). —Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions. —Manage all internal compliance framework related to the finance department. —Reviews general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting. Quarterly review of balance sheet accounts with Finance Manager. —Manage all relationships with internal and external auditors. —Manage all tax related matters with internal and external parties. —Produces financial reports involving the company accounts for the monthly reviews and quarterly board meetings. —Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Including all internal and external reporting committing to strict guidelines and deadlines. —Produces quarterly and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports. —Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures. —Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications 1.BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting required; CPA /IFRS preferred. 2.Technical Skills and Prior Experience in similar role. 3.Strong experience with SAP or similar ERP system required. 4.Five to seven years prior supervisory experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas. 5.Fair knowledge of financial costing and credit control. 6.working in industrial environment is required. 7.Must be PC proficient and. Experience with large automated accounting systems a plus. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Office 8.Strong verbal and written communication skills. 9.Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required.
