Define, develop and implement finance and accounting plans in order to be in line with overall Finance strategy. Define, develop and implement proper internal controls and procedures to ensure accuracy of records, and the processing of receivables, payables and other accounting transactions. Direct the establishment and maintenance of a chart of accounts that reflects business requirements and is in line with accounting practices and organization policies and procedures. Direct the establishment of a general ledger process, ensuring that a proper system for recording general ledger transactions is in place and properly reflects all transactions carried out within the organization and is in line with accounting practices and organization policies and procedures. Direct the establishment of payables and receivables processes, to ensure that a proper system for recording and managing payables and receivables transactions is in place and properly reflects payables and receivables transactions in line with accounting practices and organization policies and procedures. Direct the establishment of a fixed assets process, to ensure that a proper system for recording, depreciating and valuing assets is in place and properly reflects fixed assets transactions in line with accounting practices and organization policies and procedures. Manage the aged accounts receivable in alignment with EITS’s standards and business strategy, to ensure outstanding receivables from all operations including land plot sales, utilities billing and community billing are within established parameters. Direct the preparation of accurate cash flow projections and efficient cash management through adequate funding from banks and tracking the proper allocation of funds to various projects handled, in order to support business cash needs and mitigate cash risk. Liaise with external tax advisors to obtain tax consultations. Direct the preparation of accurate cash flow.
