- Manage day-to-day operations of the monitoring system toolset to ensure availability of hardware, applications. - Respond to incidents, but more importantly; prevent incidents through active analysis and monitoring - Work with relevant team members, to develop/enhance current applications triggers to serve for the monitoring infrastructure (threshold management, event management, etc.) - Create and maintain operational dashboards for both real-time and trended views for multiple levels of users. - Coordinate with administrators and application owners regularly, providing monitoring results, data analytics, and customized thresholds for efficient enterprise operation. - Research new technologies and products related to end-to-end application and infrastructure monitoring for engineering new monitoring solutions. - Develop and supervise components of application performance monitoring and improve rules, alerts, and notifications. - Support and engineer innovative solutions for monitoring Windows/UNIX/Linux systems in a large enterprise and provide insights about the new feature introductions and enhancements - Engineer new designs, providing an upgrade path to newer monitoring applications while maintaining and supporting existing infrastructure to include creation and maintenance of design documents.
Qualifications - Bachelor in Computer Engineering or Computer Science - 0-2 years of experience with Windows servers. - Knowledge of UNIX/Linux Operating System is a plus. - Previous experience in support is a plus. - Good experience with Microsoft excel and power point. - Good analytical and investigative skills. - Very good command in English. - Organized, details oriented, and self-motivated. - Ability to work alone and in a team
