Description Oversees development, Implementation, and maintenance of IT policies and Processes of the Unit. Provision of support activities via a team of network system engineers to support our ongoing business operations to ensure continued business operations and to minimize system downtime and operational impact of any outages. Keeps up-to-date on the latest technology and makes recommendations whenever the technology needs to be updated. Lead the Infrastructure Support Team, including monitoring work queues through service desk system to ensure timely issue resolution; monitoring and assessing work performance; identification of training and development needs. Line Management of Infrastructure Support staff, including employee engagement/motivation; mentoring and performance management. Co-operation with the helpdesk Desk Supervisor relating to issue resolution of infrastructure elements. Contribute to the protection of our IT information assets via regular testing and diagnostic processes. Including, but not limited to, Penetration testing issue treatment; reviewing file and folder access requests; adherence to Information Security policy, procedures and best practices; identification and implementation of security improvements. Ensure that our mission critical systems are adequately backed up to allow business recovery, including regular testing and verification. Provision of accurate information contributing to monthly reports.
Qualifications •B.Sc. in computer science major: computer engineering-computer science-information Systems. •Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP). •Microsoft Certified Exchange Server. •CCNA is a plus Experience. •Hard Worker. •The ability to work under pressure •Problem Solving Capabilities. •Planning and organizing and time management skills. •Communication Skills.
