Description Manages the sales staff,and monitors them Responsible for a number of key international brands with local distribution rights held by the company Implement a local sales & distribution plan for all related products Implement effective sales & marketing strategies related to all product ranges Build new client relationships offering the companies branded product range and approve terms of business Attend local trade shows & exhibitions working with the Marketing team on new product launches and variety of other market communications initiatives. Ensure that location sales quotas are achieved Recruit sales representatives Provide sales staff with proper training regarding sales techniques, legal requirements, and company Products, policies, and procedures Review and evaluate sales staff performance Handle personnel issues and problems Conduct weekly sales meetings Ensure all contracts/paperwork are completed and returned accurately and in a timely manner Work in the field with the sales team.
Qualifications • A minimum of 3 years commercial experience in leading a Sales & Distribution function for a brand or range of products • Must have current experience in leading a sales function across consumer related products • Excellent experience in building relationships with new customers and enhancing existing relationships to maximize sales & margin returns • Ability to understand competitive analysis and be a knowledge base for the product range
