Description To focus on developing and increasing all aspects of the institutes business. To make contact with companies, organizations, foreign delegations, HR managers, universities, associations.. etc to promote the school. To plan, in coordination with the CM the introduction of new courses and new products, estimating investment, staffing, organization and returns. To be a member of the institutes senior management team. To maintain and ensure that the schools website is up-to-date and social media is used to the full. To ensure that D-bases of potential customers for mail-outs and mass emails are in place and sully exploited. To keep close contact with different sections of the institute and regularly consult with them on sales and promotions of their products. To ensure that marketing information including the design of adverts, information, brochures, posters, booklets etc is effective. To prepare an annual plan and write a brief bi-weekly report on development and marketing issues for the CM and Exec Director. To produce and/or coordinate the production of promotional materials, school news sheets/magazines, magazine articles, press releases etc. To research other schools and always be up-to-date with events and activities in the educational market.
Qualifications The Business Development Manager will be out-going, able to work and make decisions independently and have competent IT skills. The job demands someone who is self-motivated with good planning and organization skills including the ability to foresee the time and effort required to complete each task or project on time. In the midst of major events, flexi-time may be necessary, although this is an exception and not the norm.

Other Skills • Enthusiasm for developing and promoting businesses. • Excellent planning and presentation skills. • Bi-lingual in English and Arabic both written and spoken. • Needs to be well organized and aware of short and long term deadlines. • Ability to work under pressure at busy times. • Self-motivated to use time effectively. • Excellent interpersonal skills dealing with a wide variety of clients and customers.
