Description 1.Define, develop, set up and monitor the implementation of a proper operations base that covers all concerned parties such as; internal contacts,forwarding companies,clearing agents, insurance companies,warehousing facilities and land transportation services 2.Direct the proper operations start-up by validating information received from the Regional Operations department 3.Reduce costs when possible by managing allocated budget/expenditures and report variances between effective and set budget to guarantee effective cost management 4.Manage the complete process of receiving goods while ensuring timely delivery to proper venues 5.Assess,constantly,the logistics network ensuring optimal service to the business 6.Benchmark and evaluate rates between different Logistics providers and update the regional office accordingly 7.Recruit, train, motivate and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company
Qualifications 1.Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration 2.5 years of relevant experience; experience in a multi-country/ multi-brand operating environment is a plus 3.Strong professional Logistics knowledge and expertise in the related procedures,standards and supply chain systems 4.Thorough knowledge of relevant local import,export,clearance, transportation and warehousing laws,regulations and methods 5.Fluency in English 6.Proficiency in MS Office
