Description In partnership with Business user community, provide expert Functional support in all IT Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) areas and transactional service matters; Work closely with end-users to identify and explain process and data discrepancies; Provide expert Oracle EBS Functional support (functional troubleshooting, setup changes, configuration review, queries and data analysis, etc.) for application and related interfaces to ensure availability and reliability of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, especially in the key areas of Financials (AR, AP, GL), Procurement and Human resources; Interface with Business Users/Super Users, and members of various IT and project teams to improve synergies in existing solutions, minimize recurring data/product bugs and data related issues, expand reporting and communication, and continuously strive for service improvements, performance tuning, and support reduction; Ensure service improvements delivery; Deliver service improvement initiatives by working with Business Super Users, internal IT and project teams, and vendors in identifying and leading evolutions in system performance, availability, and data quality; Develop, document, and ensure adherence to Functional/Technical specifications and SOPs for bug-fixes, data-fixes, performance tuning, and solution improvements with technical support and development teams and vendors; Interface with Oracle partner support team in all support matters, assignments to completion. Responsible for ownership and communication aspects of Service Requests; Prepare and maintain key SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) documents and service specifications for new and existing solutions to ensure service levels are met. Initialize change management process on requests for application change or data updates.
Qualifications •Bachelor Degree in IT, MIS or equivalent experience, Masters preferred. •4-8 years of proven experience with Oracle R12/11i (design, development, testing, implementation, support, and troubleshooting) application suite (R12/11i). •Strong Functional, analytical, troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships and contribute in a team environment. •Strong knowledge of inter-modular relationships between various Oracle applications (R12 and 11i). Well versed in Oracle Financials Applications modules, such as, AR, AP, GL, & Procurement. Knowledge of Human Resources is a plus. •Profession of SQL/PLSQL and report writer for Oracle RDBMS (10g/11g). Expertise in Oracle Applications Development framework, AOL objects and Discoverer
