Description Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. µ Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers. µ Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change. µ Greet customers entering establishments. µ Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas. µ Establish or identify prices of goods, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners. µ Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales. µ Compute and record totals of transactions. µ Bag, box, wrap, or gift-wrap merchandise, and prepare packages for shipment. µ Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
Qualifications Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree. · Experience Requirements: o Knowledge of customer service principles and processes o Experience in a retail, customer service or sales environment o From 1 - 3 years in same position. · Key Skills & Core Competencies : o Active Listening, Mathematical Thinking, Service Orientation. · Languages: o Can communicate in English.
