Description —Maintain and distribute process and quality standards and procedures to concerned departments in order to manufacture the product according to the quality standard—Preparation of quality control programs that ensures all Products manufactured by the company satisfies the clients expectations and satisfaction—Accepts or rejects materials or finished products for use or delivery when non-conformance to quality requirements has been determined—Ensures adequate control of purchased materials quality by adapting procedures for sampling inspections and vendor approval and by providing in-plant inspection—Ensure that the applicable elements of the quality control system will be strictly complied with as determined by contract specification—Provide both standard and special mix designs and cure cycles if applicable to manufacture the product accordingly—Identify, trace and dispose of inferior materials and manufactured products—Conduct programs of study in areas of process and materials to improve product quality—Provide the concerned departments with daily summary test report to monitor production quality—Follow up on and implement plans to improve product quality in the plant—Follow up with Q.C. Engineers, inspectors and Laboratory Technicians to ensure manufactured Products are in accordance with contract specifications and internal standards—Cooperate with Plant Manager and Production Manager for the production of high-quality pipe at reasonably low cost—Evaluate vendor capabilities to furnish ordered materials and ensure its quality—Submit daily summary reports to departmental managers for review and comments—Coordinate ISO 9000 activities and to make sure they are implemented—Evaluate inquiries into inferior products and customers complaints regarding pipe/ products supplied to them in order to study the cause of the complaints—Respond to customer inquiry
Qualifications BSc. of Chemistry / Chemical Engineering. • 8-10 years of experience in Quality Control, Preferable in Concrete/Cement Industry. • Leadership skills • Reporting
