Description Open, update and maintain the status of Shipment, Samples Shipments, Literature Shipments, Evaluation and related files. Hold and maintain the list of approved suppliers and make sure that any new supplier is firstly approved by the Manager. The day-to-day activities include the preparation and submission of both FPO to supplier and routing order to forwarder and performing all follow up activities till the closing of the file with the necessary receiving inspection. Proper coordination with Sales, Operation, Accounting, Stores, Customs Clearance and Management in order to ensure that information is exchanged and that actions are taken accordingly for timely execution of the orders. This should include monitoring the actual execution of the order against the sales delivery requirements on the requisition order. Support the Accounting department by compiling the suppliers and forwarders account status report and possible payment schedules by reviewing their accounts and approve them. Follow up with the customs clearance and prepare the packages to assist the release of the shipment from the Egyptian customs to be transferred to the customs clearance. Generate necessary reports to support the above functions. The reports could be either computerized or manual. Collect data from executed files as input to the supplier / forwarder performance evaluation and to analyze these data and establish a trend analysis under the supervision of the Sales Support Manager as this is a quality analysis Handles the Local Purchasing Processes & Procedures Bears responsibility for the Credit & Payment Control facilities for the entire Logistics department, involving the local, foreign & shipping charges Evaluates local supplier performance and issues the supplier approved list Executes in & out daily inventory transactions in a timely manner.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 3-5 years of experience in a similar field Fluency in English; French is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
