Description —Manages and oversees overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and selection of vendors. —Identifies systems/tools/resources needed to implement planning/forecasting systems. —Supervises staff responsible for achieving the companys supply chain requirements. —Develops and manages the procurement function for materials, spares and services required by the company. —Negotiates and places commercial terms and purchasing agreements to set up long term agreements with suppliers. —Ensure that suppliers meet quality requirements and applicable regulatory requirements and initiates appropriate action when supplier quality or compliance deficiencies are identified. —Develops; reviews and approves existing purchasing procedures to maintain economy and efficiency of operation. —Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments and manager distribution activities to outlets —Ensures cross functional coordination between logistical units and other divisions in order to maximize service level and optimize company supply chain performance in terms of efficiency and cost.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration or any related study 3-5yrs experience in senior supply chain management position in same industry. Knowledge and understanding of supply chain management, distribution methods and transportation services. Ability to quickly identify ongoing process improvement opportunities across supply chain operations and identify and develop solutions. Strong negotiation and contracting skills with demonstrated success in managing complex supplier relationships. Excellent English, verbal / written communication Ability to work well through others Excellent computer skills
