Description Demonstrate techniques in activities such as drawing and painting. — Knows the fundamentals and different approaches to drawing. — Instruct students in proper care and use of tools and equipment. — Organize storage areas and control use of materials, equipment and tools to prevent loss or abuse, and to minimize time required for distribution and collection. — To maintain good order and discipline among the pupils — To organise and manage groups or individual pupils ensuring differentiation of learning needs, reflecting all abilities. — Creates an effective environment for learning through functional and attractive use of different materials. — Displays the students projects inside or outside the class. — To participate in staff meetings and parents meetings as required. — To be part of a whole school team, actively involved in decision-making on the preparation and development of policies and programmes of study, teaching materials, resources and methods of teaching. — To ensure that school policies are reflected in daily practice. — To communicate with parents over all aspects of their childrens education ” academic, social and behavioural by discussing the students progress and interpret the school program. — To support the Supervisor in promoting the capabilities of the department. — To promote the welfare of children and to support the school in safeguarding children though relevant policies and procedures. — To promote equality as an integral part of the role and to treat every student with fairness and dignity. — Selects instructional aids and needed materials; maintains required inventory records. — Supervises students in and out-of-classroom activities during the school day; breaks and dismissal time. — Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional participation atmosphere in the classroom. — Evaluates students, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in a relevant area. - Previous experience in teaching Art.
