Description — Develop basic & Detailed Mechanical Designs — Design works for project and jobs assigned to him / her while all main assumptions should be clearly stated. Drawings Preparation / Drawings Revision — Responsible for preparation or revision of Mechanical design development drawings / Mechanical construction drawings. — Responsible for preparation or revision of Mechanical Technical specification of various Projects — Responsible for preparation or revision of Mechanical Bill of Quantities of various mechanical jobs — Responsible for preparation or revision of Mechanical Bid package preparation, Tendering & Evaluation Supervision Works — Prepare design & analysis in support of construction contract package — Review Mechanical contractor claims — Assist in monitoring performance & Earned value against the project design schedule & budget — Coordination of the contractors shop drawings and material submittals. — Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials — Responsible for the technical follow up or at least stating the technical points to be concerned in both manufacturing and /or site works. — Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations Ensure Conformance to Department Standards & Procedures Responsible for all records & Registers of job under his responsibilities Perform review of work product of consultant or other department staff Work independently with minimum supervision Preparation of all required reports defined by Electromechanical Section Head or Technical Office Manager Doing the complete filling for all projects design documents including both calculation sheets, drawings, details and specification ...etc. Presence in any meeting with Consultant / clients technical representative and discussing all related problems ...etc. Ready for assignment with extra responsibilities required by his /her superiors or Technical Office Manage.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications Professional registration in Mechanical Engineering Institute Working Knowledge of • Water supply & drainage systems • HVAC Systems • Fire Fighting Systems • Handling systems • Machinery & Fluid flow systems Detailed Familiarity with mechanical design & analysis software High computer skills, especially auto-cad. Revit user is an advantage Strong Interpersonal skills Good communication skills From 6 to 10 years of work experience in Mechanical Engineering Field Required Education BS Mechanical Engineering from an accredited engineering school
