Description 1.Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform 2.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 3.Work with outside data sources and APIs 4.Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. 5.Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. 6.Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency 7.Candidate will be travelling to KSA on a rotation basis to work on a project
Qualifications •5+ years of experience doing software engineering •3+ years of experience with Java and related technologies applied to Android development •Experience with Android development using Eclipse, IntelliJ or Android Developer Studio •Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Android SDK and core frameworks including maps, local data storage and data encryption •Experience with Android cloud services •Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON •Experience with third-party libraries and APIs •Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies •Experience with device integration is a plus •Experience automating builds, publishing apps, app usage tracking (Google Analytics) are a plus •Candidate has developed one or more Android apps that are available for download and evaluation from the Google Play store, preferably at least one that has been developed independently
