•Perform all sorts of network implementation, consultation, testing and configuration •Perform wireless networking site surveys and implementation. •Perform services design tasks in cooperation with the rest of other departments’ team members. •Perform project management tasks in cooperation with the rest of other departments’ team members. •Perform routine network preventive maintenance adhering to operational security and operational guidelines •Respond to and troubleshoot all network problems for all company related projects. •Maintain documentation - ensure proper update of documentation in relation to changes in the networking environment. •Provide after office standby support for operational issues •Provide customer signed reports after every assignment •Give all the necessary on job training and usage guidance to customers •Maintain good command of customer satisfaction •Monitoring of network infrastructure to ensure smooth operations •Provide our customers with remote, on-site and phone support for their networking problems •Perform networking solutions demos and presentations for customers •Find new leads while on an assignment and propose them to the customer in addition to report them to both the team leader and the sales engineer
Qualifications •Bachelor degree of Communication/computer Engineering •CCNA is a must, CCNP or CCVP is preferred. •2 years or above experience in Cisco-based networking - LAN, WAN, routing, security and/or voice. •Skilled in working with LAN switching in a CISCO environment including STP, VLAN, VTP, MLS. Knowledge and experience in Cisco’s Wireless technologies will be a bonus. •Working knowledge of standard network services is expected (DNS, DHCP, NTP, TFTP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, SSL, SNMP, etc). •Strong work experience and analytical skills in isolating faults & network problems, problem resolution and service restoration as well as configuration knowledge in IP networking •Preferably experience in network management, monitoring and troubleshooting tools. •Experience in VoIP Technologies and protocols will be an advantage. •Experience in Wireless networking and access points will be an advantage
