Work with patients to assess, evaluate and identify the physical problem clearly including stump evaluation, care, bandaging. •Take and rectify cast for all types of prosthetic and orthodontic devices to meet patient specifications. •Conduct trials with the patient and obtain feedback. •Liaise with Production to provide the cast and any requirements ensuring specifications are clear. •Develop customized treatment and rehabilitation programs that target patient specific problems and support in the achievement of maximum mobility. •Liaise with the patient’s medical carer to make sure that all relevant information is incorporated in the treatment program. •Educate and advise patients and their carers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions
Qualifications Advanced interpersonal abilities, communication abilities and Knowledge of orthopedic fitting.
