Interdisciplinary project within the Functional Materials Lab at the Center for Materials Science is seeking a full or Part-time research assistant. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Alkordi. The candidate should have a strong background in Chemistry. The positions responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Administrative work - Literature search - Database management - Ordering equipment and supplies - Conducting experiments - Writing manuscripts
Qualifications - BSc in Chemistry or related field, Desirable to have a M.Sc in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related area. - Must have 1 to 2 years research experience - Experience with Organic Synthesis and Instrumental Analysis - Experience with endnote and chemistry search engines - Can work in a team and must be able to follow instructions and protocols
