Assist in receiving & unloading the containers in a safety manner. To be responsible for the safekeeping of the property and make sure that hygiene is maintained throughout the warehouse by sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards. Coordinate with inspector, checker and quality controller to carry quality checks for incoming stuffs and may assist in checking merchandise. To be responsible for recording stock figures. To be responsible for data entry, completion and prompt submission of all related paperwork and the provision of other information as requested. Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock-take and audit of same to verify results. To develop productive working relationships with colleagues. Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of KPIs, with a primary focus on cost controls. To communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, other warehouse & department staff. To be able to deal effectively and efficiently with queries and correspondence. To be aware of and to follow all safety guidelines. To ensure accuracy in all paperwork whether from the requested department or third party. To assist in other duties as reasonably requested by the warehouse supervisor or warehouse Manager.
Qualifications 0-1 Experience as warehouse in-charge position. Basic Computer Skills, MS Office (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint). To be aware of, and follow, warehouse safety handling procedures.
