- Prepares financial analysis reports using statistical, historical and benchmark data. - Assists in the preparation and analysis of financial statements internally and externally. - Provide technical system support to company owned locations (Cairo & Alexandria – Egypt). o Point person for troubleshooting Accounting System issues. - Assist internal and external auditors in year-end audits. - Review and audit the accuracy and integrity of calculating and posting journal entries into the accounting system, sub-ledgers and general ledger activity. - Assist in recording cash management entries and maintain account balances and reconciliations. - Review, audit and maintain customer and vendor accounts. - Act as back-up to the Senior Accountants as required. - Review reimbursements to tax authority & reconcile withholding taxes, sales and VAT taxes. - Assist in managing Customers’ accounts including Accounts Receivable follow-up, collections & postdated checks safe keeping and processing. - Review inventory adjustments, claims financial management and physical inventory count periodical audits. - Assists in special projects as necessary.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or financial accounting. - Successful candidate must have minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in financial and data analysis. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - High level of attention to details. - Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Arabic / English languages). - Team player. - Problem-solving oriented and ability to learn and acquire advanced accounting and analytical skills in the shortest time as required. - A high degree of competency with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Preferably, previous experience with accounting systems and ERP software. - Some traveling will be required.
