Monitors and facilitates month-end and year end close activities. •Supports the analysis and interpretation of results, along with the preparation of financial and operating reports to provide a basis for management planning and operating controls. •Suggests changes in and additions to accounting practices and procedures. •Implements such changes where applicable. •Lead, Monitor, develop, coach, and train the accounting team when applicable •The main purpose of the role is to support the Financial Manager in managing and running the accounting function in the company. And to ensure the smooth running of the company business and help in achieving its targets. •Managing a companys financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems. •Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out. •Develop policies and procedures, manage development projects as required and sign off changes proposed by subordinates/others, in order to support the ongoing development of accounting provision and standards. •Evaluate data pertaining to costs to plan budgets. •Manage, train and evaluate department team.
Qualifications 6-8 years of experience in a similar field Proficiency in MS Office Fluency in English Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis on Accounting or Finance; MBA or CMA is a plus
