Description Ocean freight Coordinator is responsible to affect and ensure the smooth Execution of General Sea-import/export files and documentation of both.
Qualifications Freight Forwarding experience is a must.

Comments Sea Import Role: The Ocean Freight supervisor is responsible for the coordination of Sea Import shipments such as opening import files, production of internal documentation, updating import status, assisting and advising customers of arrival, arranging deliveries, processing invoices (including price conversions and verifying shipment weight and volume) and handling e-mail queries from FedEx overseas offices. Sea Export Role: Performs a variety of duties as outlined in Seafreight SLA supporting the organization’s export activities. Calculates rates and price conversions. Converts and verifies shipment weight and volume. Communicates by e-mail, telephone and fax with foreign operations and local customers. Arranges transportation by truck and vessel and ensures timely delivery of shipments and prompt and accurate documentation and invoicing. Is willing and flexible to learn and work with other departments
