Description - The auto center managers have to manage all the service operations in an auto center to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Hiring, training and supervising all service department personnel and monitoring their performance.
- Creating goals and objectives for the department, which includes an annual operating budget and a marketing plan to promote new and repeat business.
- Encouraging technicians to keep their skills up-to-date through periodic technical training on new systems and components.
- Keeping up-to-date on brands warranty policy and pricing changes.
- Maintaining the highest Customer Service Index (CSI) rating from customers by handling customer complaints immediately and Listen to their complaints and assist in addressing their issues and resolving challenges.
- Follow up customers to obtain feedback and ensure they are satisfied with received service.
- Marketing and setting business goals is a critical duty of this position, Special promotions and initiatives to retain customers is a creative duty of service center manager.
- They have to ensure that deadlines are met by the mechanics when it comes to finishing repair work on a customers car, to ensure efficient job performance and timely repairs.
- They have to report to the owners all required reports.
- Evaluate the performance of automotive service staff in order to acknowledge efficient employees and guide underperforming ones.
- Oversee the disposal of wastes such as used engine oil, soot to ensure adherence to health and safety laws
- Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to their skills
- Attend workshops and study relevant publications to stay up-to-date with developments in the automotive service industry.
Qualifications Ability to work in the following governates; Beni Suef and Hurghada. Minimum of 10 years Service centers experience REQUIRED Good computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to work in a team environment. Extensive technical background with management training. Require strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors. Required to maintain the profitability of their departments while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
