Description Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person.
Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs.
Arranging test-drives and accompanying customers on these tests.
Negotiating the final price for the sale.
Selling accessories or other services once a vehicle has been chosen.
Completing the paperwork for each sale.
Helping to increase the customer database and prospecting potential sales.
Liaising with the service team to ensure sold cars are prepped to a high standard and are ready for delivery within the agreed timescale.
Develop an in-depth understanding of our current car inventory and use that knowledge to encourage customers to make a purchase.
Work with our team to grow our customer base.
Assist in setting up the sales lot or the showroom floor for promotions and to put new models on display.
Work with the Finance Manager to develop sales agreements that benefit the company as well as the customer.
Collaborate with our Sales Manager to offer attractive deals on used vehicles to interested customers.
Qualifications Minimum of 2 years automotive sales experience. Ability to build rapport with customers and qualify their requirements. Resilience. Commitment to hitting targets. Team player. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to consolidate the sale and walk the customer through every stage of the deal. Effective time management. Ability to plan and organise your own daily selling activity to secure new business. A good head for figures and understanding of personal finance issues. Strong customer service skills. Good eye for detail. A confident individual who is comfortable communicating to a diverse customer base.
