Duties
Basic Function of the Position

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the delivery and pick up of expendable and non-expendable property belonging to the Mission and related agencies. Arranges, delivers and picks-up property for special functions, including: the Fourth of July party, VIP visits and other events.  Leads one or more delivery crews consisting of warehouse staff and truck drivers. Responsible for recording Property/Barcode Numbers, condition  codes, serial numbers, owning agencies, and obtaining signatures of requesters or his/her representative upon completion of the request. Is constantly aware of both property and personnel safety. Safeguards and is accountable for all property in his/her custody against damage, theft, misuse and abuse. Ensures that schedules are met in a timely manner. Assists in physical and/or annual inventory of the warehouse.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years in warehouse and supply operations involving movement of property is required.


JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge in Supply instructions and Procedures.

Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required

Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level II (Limited Knowledge) in English is required.  Level III (Good working Knowledge) in Arabic is required.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Must have a valid driver’s license , be able to drive vans and pick-up trucks to transport warehousemen to job sites.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class 1 driver’s license.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), locally-resident EFMs and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in CAIRO/EGYPT may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits. For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office. The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
