 Position: Procurement Agent 

Responsibilities:

  • Handles a variety of procurement and contracting tasks essential for the operation and maintenance of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.
  • Performs purchases from local, regional, and U.S.-based vendors.
  • Manages petty cash and purchase card transactions.
  • Negotiates procurement deals and complex contracts, including construction and recurring services.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of two years in procurement, contracting, shipping, or vendor relations.
  • Education: A university degree is required.
  • Job Knowledge: General knowledge of business and procurement practices in Egypt.
  • Languages:
    • Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).
    • Fluent Arabic (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
