Position: Procurement Agent
Responsibilities:
- Handles a variety of procurement and contracting tasks essential for the operation and maintenance of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.
- Performs purchases from local, regional, and U.S.-based vendors.
- Manages petty cash and purchase card transactions.
- Negotiates procurement deals and complex contracts, including construction and recurring services.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of two years in procurement, contracting, shipping, or vendor relations.
- Education: A university degree is required.
- Job Knowledge: General knowledge of business and procurement practices in Egypt.
- Languages:
- Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Fluent Arabic (speaking, reading, writing).
- Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
