Are you passionate about cybersecurity? BasataPay is looking for a SOC Analyst Tier 1 to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts from SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools.
- Analyze logs, network traffic, and system activity to detect potential threats.
- Perform initial triage, contain threats, and escalate critical incidents.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and attack techniques.
- Document incidents, generate reports, and maintain security records.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders for a coordinated security response.
- Assist in post-incident reviews and optimize SOC tools and detection rules.

Qualifications:
- 0-1 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
- Familiarity with SOC operations, SIEM tools, and security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR).
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or GIAC GSEC are a plus.
