General Ledger Accountant  At Engaz

Engaz is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our team!

Responsibilities include:

• Recording daily journal entries (sales, purchases, expenses, etc.)

• Maintaining accurate general ledger accounts

• Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations

• Supporting monthly closing and preparing trial balances

• Reconciling intercompany and supplier/customer balances

• Assisting in inventory valuation and costing

• Coordinating with the tax accountant on VAT and tax filings

• Helping with financial statements and audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 1–3 years of experience in general ledger accounting

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries

• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, Zoho, etc.)

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Familiarity with tax procedures is a plus
