Job Description
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently, verifying personal and insurance information.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments using clinic management software.
- Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, ensuring all materials and supplies are well-stocked.
- Coordinate with dental staff to manage patient flow and appointment schedules, minimizing wait times.
- Handle patient records, maintain confidentiality, and ensure accurate data entry into electronic systems.
- Assist with billing, payment processing, and insurance claim submissions as needed.
- Provide information about clinic services, policies, and procedures to patients and visitors.
- Address patient concerns or complaints promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.
Job Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in a receptionist or front desk role, preferably in a healthcare or dental clinic setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a busy office environment.
- Proficiency in using office software and clinic management systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
