Description Overview: The fundamental task of the IT Specialist is to ensure that the computers, technology, equipment, and systems work reliably and smoothly, facilitating the work of personnel and causing the least possible disruption to staff and clients of AMIDEAST. The IT Specialist manages and maintains all assets, equipment, and related peripherals and activities. Tasks and Responsibilities: - Manages, monitors and maintains assets and asset reports. - Conducts storage audits and monitors device exits. - Administers and maintains Active Directory, Exchange, Terminal and File servers. - Manages, maintains, troubleshoots and monitors ADSL connections and Wireless Access points. - Manages, maintains, troubleshoots and monitors WSUS server and reports. - Providing external off site support when needed. - Monitors, maintains and troubleshoots office desktop computers. - Installs, maintains, monitors and troubleshoots CSMS system and issues security ID cards. - Maintains and troubleshoots Queuing systems. - Produces daily call logs. - Conducts daily backup and restoration jobs. - Maintains and troubleshoots Print server and WSUS server availability - Manages conferencing technologies like; live meeting, OCS, Skype. - Conducts SRA installation, deployment and training plans.
Qualifications Required: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or relevant field - Two or more years of experience in similar field - MCITP (Microsoft Certified Information Technology Specialist) - Excellent English and Arabic communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Server 2008 environments and with Microsoft Office Suite - Proficiency with computer software technology - Proficiency in managing databases - Ability to work independently or as a team player Preferred: - MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solution Associate) - Proficiency in multimedia software (Adobe, Photoshop, …etc)
