Description Develop and coordinate architecture and design efforts in line with product development timelines — Provide clear and effective technical leadership, influencing the overall organization toward more effective and efficient development practices — Provide effective project leadership through self-directed and efficient project management techniques — Provide strong technical support for the overall product as required and assigned, including defect corrections, product training, and, when required, field service support.
Qualifications Advanced degree in a related technical discipline (e.g. MSEE, MSCS) or a minimum 2 years in-depth experience in related area Strong Knowledge of wireless systems architectures, especially WiMAX 802.16e wireless protocol Knowledge in the areas of Wireless Technologies (modulation, coding. MAC protocols, RF), Data Communications (Ethernet, IP, ATM) Experience in embedded system design, particularly wireless systems Software coding experience in C/C++ Knowledge in low level device driver development is a plus Familiarity with Linux OS and kernel development is a plus Familiarity with VxWorks Development Environment is a plus Strong knowledge of software debugging and hardware troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of full life cycle development Ability to create schematics, plans and drawings
