Description The successful applicant will work in the Biomedical Sciences Program as a Teaching Assistant. . He/she will work with members of a dedicated team to teach undergraduate students. Responsibilities include working with laboratory experiments, performing teaching and teaching-related duties, and general participation in program evaluation and continued development. Assist faculty members with classroom and lab instruction and exams. —Hand out assignments and grade papers. —Meet with students during office hours and clinics. —Help professors and develop course plans and experiments. —Take attendance and record responses. —Perform required teaching-related projects.
Qualifications B.Sc. or M.Sc. in biology or a related field • Experience in biology laboratory equipment • Knowledge of laboratory safety issues • Ability to handle several tasks effectively • Ability to work collaboratively in a team •
