Description Identify, develop, evaluate, and introduce solutions to meet near term and long range Learning Technologies needs Maintain an active role in developing and defining the state of the art in own technical specialty in order to apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs including adherence to schedules and estimated costs Work closely with systems teams in requirements gathering and software design Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution standards development, and proposed solutions. Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. Maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
Qualifications At least 3 years experience in developing software for complex systems or computerized products Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle Experience in object oriented design methodology and various programming languages Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills
