Description The Technology Risk ()TR)) service area is comprised of professionals with a broad range of information technology and risk management consulting skills. TR professionals focus on information systems and technology audits to address operational, financial and regulatory risks; as well as solutions that manage the risk associated with information technology itself. They might also deliver advisory services focused on risk and compliance to IT management and senior executives. Professional and Technical Responsibilities: — Provide information technology auditing including GITC, Application Controls and CGI Testing. — Documents business processes, identifying controls and control gaps, testing controls and documenting results of tests. Perform information security reviews and alerting clients to risks. — Delivers recommendations that provide management with insight into best practices and opportunities for increased efficiencies — Helping clients mitigate risks alerted to and provide recommendations for improved and enhanced business efficiency — Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in order to establish working relationships with client personnel. — Strong time management and organizational skills — Exhibit a professional, business-like behavior. — Apply problem-solving skills and deliver Deloitte methodology on engagements. — Develop professional skills in various technology risk / security and privacy domains. — Build industry knowledge to understand risk management issues relevant to that particular business.
Qualifications • Broad exposure to Information Technology audit operations, including performance of risk based audits covering (GITCs, Application Controls and CGI testing), development of audit programs utilizing computer assisted audit techniques, performing audit testing and documenting and reporting audit results. • CISA, CISSP and CISM professional certifications are desired • Any technology related certification is necessary. • Proven competency in one or more of the following technology platforms: MS SQL database; MS Access, SQL/queries, Oracle database, Networking, UNIX/Linux, Windows Server, MS SharePoint, programming language (i.e. C/C++, Java, VB.Net; ASP.Net; PHP). • Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor degree in one of the following: Dual major/minor combination in Computer Science or Management Information Systems with Business (i.e. Accounting, Business Administration, Finance) Engineering Computer Science
