Description Receive formal and informal orientation and training related to managing the marketing of the Companys products to learn and perform the following duties under close supervision of the Marketing Manager. 1. Prepare and coordinate product programs needed to compete or exceed competitive market demands. 2. Maintain continuous awareness of competitive products, pricing, performance, market share, etc., for purpose of coordinating displacement strategies, with sales managers and field sales. 3. Assist in coordinating and managing trade show presentations and exhibits, and point-of sale display offerings. 4. Assist in development and distribution of salesmans samples and sales aids. 5. Prepare sales bulletins and letters to communicate with internal departments as well as distributors, contractors, and builders regarding marketing programs and policies. 6. Maintain continuous contact with Product Marketing, Channel Sales, Engineering, and all other internal and external sources which can contribute to the development of new product ideas to satisfy consumer needs, insure marketability, and provide for Kohler Co. growth and increased profit. 7. Attend seminars, professional organization meetings, trade shows, etc., to keep abreast of new marketing concepts or other developments germane to the function.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required. • Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint in specific and other MS Office applications in general (Access is a big asset). • Fluent English. • Experience of 2-4 years in Marketing, Channel Management, and/or Product Development • Must possess a keen analytical mind, be strong on planning, detail and accuracy and be a demonstrably creative thinker. Must possess substantial skills in written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts.
