Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — Ensuring software developed complies with agreed techniques and standards, including version control of software for all bespoke code and configuration. — Creating, amending and monitoring of software: correcting errors and re-testing to achieve an error free result in conjunction with QA team. — Working in conjunction with other team members to deploy software upgrades under approved change control procedures, ensuring the delivery of updated software is completed to agreed timescales with full agreement and communication with business. — Ensure that all software development adheres to company security standards, and that there are no internal or external breaches to data. — Capable of understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level — Work on a wide range of projects involving the implementation of new and existing systems, solutions and processes — Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
Qualifications • 5+ years’ experience as a Software Developer • College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline • In depth understanding of standard Microsoft development technologies and programming toolsets. • Proficient in the use of software tools which automate or assist parts of the development processes. • A desire to remain technically capable and an expert in current technologies • Excellent understanding of software development approaches and methodologies including Agile (Scrum, TDD( • Excellent understanding and exposure to Microsoft Team Foundation Server and ALM. • Excellent Experience with Desktop development technologies including .Net 5, WPF, WCF and Multicore programming
