Description —Implements Logistics Policies & procedures —Handling Drawback —Supervise Customs clearance team —Develops and implements logistics policies and procedures to ensure compliance with customs and excise regulations. —Arranges for proper customs clearance to meet specified regulations —Supervises the drawback activities with the Customs Authorities —Maintains close contact with customs and government officials —Selects logistics suppliers and negotiates terms of contracts —Ensures timely receipt of material for production and maximises inventory control. —Responsible for transport, and clearance of imported material either directly or through external forwarders. —Responsible for effective handling of import/export activities —Supervises the Logistics team. —Maintains relations with customs duty officials
Qualifications Min. 5 years experience in similar position in multinational, manufacturing companies Strong negotiation and communication skills Strong Planning, & Problem Solving Skills University graduate, studies in Supply Chain is an asset
