Description —Assist in ensuring that all accounting entries are incorporated in the company accounts after they have been approved as per schedule of authority and the accounts are kept updated to reflect all the transaction of the business including all reconciliations with banks, debtors, creditors, etc.Handle all aspects of accounting functions (General Ledger, Accounts payable, accounting receivable, Review Bank reconciliations ‡. Assist in the preparation of the budget, forecasting, operational reports in coordination with all line managers.Monitor the company tax position and alert of any significant changes.Ensures proper backup, account coding, and approval for all invoices and credit purchases.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and taxation audit process including (Audit schedules and assist during audit field work).Maintain bookkeeping and accounting clerical workers. Maintain and submit quarterly reports.
Qualifications •Bachelor of Accounting from an accredited university. A professional Accounting Certificate / License is a plus 5-7 year’s progressively responsible experience in accounting.Very good knowledge in the laws and regulations governing the accounting. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel different applications.
