Description — Site inspector shall not direct or stop work unless there is an emergency affecting property or personnel and the Contractor`s Authorized Site/Area Supervisors do not act responsibly. — Observe housekeeping and safety measures and cooperate with the GEMS Project Safety Engineer. — Performing all inspection required on daily basis. — Be present on the project site at all times when work is being performed. — Report all deficiencies on the Inspector Daily Report. Record all deficiencies on the non-compliance notice form and follow-up to assure that non-conforming work is corrected. — Perform or cause to be performed certain special inspections as called out in the technical specifications. — Prepare Inspector Daily Report. — Stop non-conforming work, direct removal and/or replacement of same and accept or reject the rework. — Assure that the necessary re-tests are made in event of failure of GMS to meet specification requirements. — Prepare and keep inspectors daily reports as required in Quality Control Procedure. — Review the non-compliance notices for status at all discrepant items. — Will have no authority to change or deviate from the contract provisions. — Be sure that inspected works is done in accordance with the latest approved design drawing, shop drawing, method statement and materials.
Qualifications • Civil Site Inspector with 3-5 years’ experience in Engineering-Civil industry. • Structural analysis, reinforced concrete design • structural design and drawing, engineering construction • engineering drawing, steel structures, engineering materials, engineering surveying, • civil work quantity and cost estimation, environmental engineering
