Description Years of Experience: 3-5 Develops production and resource plans that meet production goals in terms of safety, quality, output and cost. -Participates in meetings with clients and potential clients to define projects. -Provides leadership in implementing policies that meet current and upcoming compliance and operational trends. -Ensures adherence to equipment SOPs and other regulatory requirements. -Pays specific attention to equipment operating practices and conditions to minimize equipment down time, lower maintenance costs, reduce time to run project and repeat of work. -Provides process troubleshooting support as needed. -Ensures proper staff training and conduct key required training. -Monitors quality performance of the group and develops and implements action plans to achieve continuous improvement. -Leads quality and safety investigations. -Responsible for teaching, coaching and mentoring employees. -Interacts with multi-departmental teams in the definition and execution of projects. -Ensures that deliverables are met or expectations are proactively managed towards alternative solutions. -Participation in customer complaint, investigation. -Action Plan on Self-Audit, External Audit. -Participate to carry out production scale up of new products with R&D Department. -Review of batch records & responsible for yield of product. -Responsible for capacity utilization of machines. -Review of production meetings.
Qualifications II. Required Qualifications/Experience: Education: Bachelor of Science major Pharmacy Job Skills: -Strong leadership, performance management and employee development skills. -Experience in performing long term planning and finite scheduling and collaborating with multi-departmental units to meet project requirements. -Demonstrated experience with managing client interaction in area of expertise supporting aseptic manufacturing either internally or a 3rd party client. -Strategic and results-oriented approach to operational excellence. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, peers, customers and regulatory agencies. -Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Deming Problem Solving and Six Sigma preferred -Ability to manage projects to improve production operations using project management tools such as MS Project, Gantt charts, and related tools
