Description Strategic planning: - To set Sector strategic development plan - Responsible for Sector annual & action plans - Responsible for initiating & developing sectoral and program related projects - To manage and follow up IMC national Sector and Export strategies and recommended actions. Stakeholder relations: - To manage relations with stakeholders; Chambers, Export councils & Industry associations. - To prepare proposals & report results of Steering Committee meetings - To work closely with industrial chambers / Export Councils to ensure the adherence to the industry development strategy & Export strategy Sector Management: - To Interact with BRC Managers in field activities - Review and approval of CAT and report - Responsible for reviewing TORs , approving LOCs & tenders - To define team KPIs & carry performance appraisals - To monitor and evaluate sector operation performance - Responsible for initiating &developing new services - Responsible for handling customer complaints & ensuring customer satisfaction - Ensure achievement of sector annual work plan and maintain balance of programs related services. - To approve BC and sectoral project deliverables & release of payments Coordinate and synchronize with other sector related programs: Exports and Exhibitions coordination: - Prepare Exhibitions evaluation reports - Evaluate exhibitions - Recommend proposals and services to develop exporters. VCD and other programs: - Coordinate activities with VCD & other Programs - Develop and recommend projects , & writing proposals Operations and Reporting: - To set sector KPIs & follow up on their progress - To develop training programs & career development plans of the team - Report on performance on regular basis to the Senior Industrial Sectors Manager - Perform any other related duty that is deemed necessary by their direct supervisor.
Qualifications • Degree/post graduate qualification in relevant discipline from a reputable university (business, engineering etc). • A minimum of 10 years managerial experience preferably among which 5 years in multinational/International markets. • Strategic planning ability • Leadership and self confidence are required. • Project management/operation management experience • High communication skills, excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills • Customer service experience is a must • Fluency in Arabic & English, written and spoken, and excellent drafting skills • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, email & internet) • Highly motivated, dynamic, and persuasive to meet deadlines under pressure • Capability of working on own initiative and good team player
