Description 1. Prepare day to day cash & bank operations preparing banks reconciliations. 2. Prepare all payments requests, procurement process, contracts, suppliers payments, advances, petty cash etc. submit for proper approvals and process payments. 3. Maintain accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. 4. Ensure compliance with the internal policies and donors compliance measures. 5. Prepare journal entries and general ledger operations on SCALA the computerized accounting system and ensure transactions are properly and timely recorded 6. Maintain complete filing system to support financial records. 7. Office maintenance, safe keeping of assets, maintain & update assets/inventory registers 8. Administer and reconcile balance sheet accounts, i.e. accounts payables and receivables 9. Prepare monthly/quarterly and yearly financial statements. 10. Assist in budgets preparation, prepare monitoring reports and any other reports for internal or external parties 11. Ensure statutory compliance. Prepare legal tax forms and social insurance and process due payments. 12. Assist with preparation for Internal and external audit processes. Ensure compliance with the audits recommendations
Qualifications 1. Bachelor degree in finance and accounting. 2. 3-4 years relevant accounting or admin experience , 3. Good Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Professional skills: 4. Perfect English Language (written and verbal) 5. Very good with Microsoft office applications including advanced Excel 6. Knowledge in relevant accounting ERP software such as SCALA software 7. Attention to detail and accuracy and is service oriented 8. Has analytical skills, shows discipline, takes initiative and is a team player. 9. Keeps Confidentiality, is honest and trustworthy
