•Contact Shipping Companies and receive different offers and proposals. •Select the suitable Shipping Agent according to price, shipping line…..etc •Prepare the required shipment documents and letter of credit such as certificate of origin, packing list, invoices …etc. •Follow up shipment schedules with shipping agents. •Issue logistics status report on weekly basis and deliver it to the department manager. •Coordinate products exiting with the warehouses. •Receive export job orders form Export Manager. •Keep clients updated with the shipping status. •Coordinate between clients and the Shipping Agent till delivering the items. •Handling and filing of documents related to logistics activities. •Maintain an updated price list of shipping contractors. •Monitor shipping performance and ensure products are delivered in an accurate and timely manner. •Analyze ordered quantities in order to determine the size of shipping vehicles required. •Coordinating with the customs clearance office in the preparation of customs’ legal documents for both export orders and imported orders. •Report monthly results and department’s activities to the department manager. •Follow up with the customs clearance agents the delivery of the imported orders.
Qualifications •College/University degree is required •Two to Four years relevant work experience in export and logistics •Advanced Computer Skills. Great Plains ERP will be a plus. •Bilingual – English and Arabic (Spoken & Written)
