- Assist in the development and implementation of in-house creative multimedia content that conveys Zewail City’s expertise and messages in various formats, including, but not limited to: videos, online photo galleries, podcasts, infographics, and animations. - Support audio-visual needs of events, website(s) and publications taking photographs to document and share as appropriate. - In collaboration with the team accompany colleagues overseas with production of audio-visuals, managing video pre and post-production, camera work, webcasts, podcasts, and photo-editing. - Coordinate with outsourced photographer and camera man whenever needed. - Testing products for errors and making amendments. - Work on a multimedia plan for the City’s social media platforms in cooperation with the website and social media officer based on the social media monthly report.
Qualifications • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Publisher; • Strong web design skills: the ability to edit HTML, JavaScript and CSS used in programs such as Mailchimp, WordPress and Drupal .8, • A good mastery of audio-visual production and publications software: Adobe (Premier, Photoshop, Indesign, After Affects) Final Cut Pro X and 7, audio editing software (such as Soundforge, SoundTrack Pro, Audacity, etc) • Experience creating infographics and animations using software like Adobe Flash, Premier, Vegas Video, Maya, Blender, 3D Studio Max, GoAnimate, Flipbook, etc.
