Manage the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the steam raising and electrical power generating equipment, and all associated auxiliary plant which constitutes the Power House. • Ensure the health, safety and general well being of all subordinate staff and any other persons working under the control of Power House Manager, or entering your area of responsibility, in accordance with statutory and Nile Sugar HSE requirements, • Ensure Power House plant availability and function to meet the Factory operational needs, • Ensure sufficient well trained staff are available to man the shifts on a continuous basis, • Manage, monitor, motivate and develop all subordinate staff, • Identify, monitor, record and control all parameters for efficient plant operations, and strive to improve plant performance each successive year, • Ensure that all Governmental, Nile Sugar and Insurance requirements for the safe operation and maintenance of the plant are in place, are actively adhered to, and are carried out timeously. • Ensure that all records of any tests and inspections are kept safely and up to date for inspection at any time by any party which has the right to view them, • Set up the section budget, and maintain costs to target,
Qualifications 6+ years of Experience Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering
