1-Responsible for identifying hazardous work place conditions, 2- Take samples & measurements of hazardous materials & coordinate the removal of physical, biological & chemical hazards. 3- Trains employees on safety policies, procedures & regulation, 4- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal & state health & safety regulations & ensure necessary records are maintained & prepared according to established guidelines. 5- Participates in occupational safety & health administration (OSHA) inspections. 6-Providing inspectors with appropriate documents & identifying safety measures. 7- Familiar with standard concepts & procedures. 8- Typically reports to managers.
Qualifications Bachelor degree, certificate of safety & health specialist from the occupational safety & health institute, fire fighting training, OSHA 18001 certificate training.
