Reviews data regarding material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital, surplus, income, and expenditures. o Inspects items in books of original entry to determine if accepted accounting procedure was followed in recording transactions. o Maintain audit work papers and sufficient evidence for the audit work performed including reported observations as per best practices and standards. o Prepare audit planning documents for audit assignment to ensure effective implementation of audit plan. o Audit Planning Documents will be prepared in coordination with Group Internal Audit. o Understand the risk affecting the audit areas and demonstrate ability to identify, document and appropriately measure those risks. o Identify and document controls against each identified risk. o Ensure that audit engagements are performed in a systematic, disciplined approach and with proficiency and professional care, and as per established applicable standards o Perform field work as per audit plan and examines, verifies, evaluates and reports on the internal control system of financial and operational process to ensure that audit assignment is completed on timely basis and as per audit plan. o Counts cash on hand, inspects notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, and cancelled checks. o Verifies journal and ledger entries of cash and check payments, purchases, expenses, and trial balances by examining and authenticating inventory items. o Prepares reports for management concerning scope of audit, financial conditions found, and source and application of funds. o Provide recommendations regarding improving operations and financial position of company.
Qualifications o B. Commerce Graduate with an Auditing qualifications like a Certified Internal Auditor (Qualified)

Experience 3 - 5 Years.
Other Skills o Minimum 4 years of Internal audit experience (mandatory) with Big Four or Mid-Tier firm experience. Preference to candidates with audit experience in courier, trading companies o Working Knowledge of both Internal & External Audits. o Initiative o Proactive and Innovative o Self-starter and “can do” attitude o Knowledge of current auditing practices and standards. o High level analytical skills for Analysis, planning, Critical thinking & investigative and reports writing skills. o Organized approach with Effective Interpersonal & communication skills.
