Description 1. Set the vision, strategic direction, expectations, and annual objectives for the overall procurement organization 2. Lead, develop, and execute strategic sourcing strategies, best practices, and initiatives that support aggressive improvements in supplier quality, delivery, pricing, lead-times, payment, and other areas as identified 3. Develop and deliver aggressive cost reduction goals through unit price, payment terms and requisitions 4. Ensure all product/material purchases meet defined quality standards and monitor internal customer satisfaction with procurement services 5. Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities 6. Review and analyze procurement processes to reduce waste and errors 7. Build, develop, coach, and support an effective leadership team to drive achievement of organizational objectives, by identifying opportunities for growth and learning while fostering a high performance culture.
Qualifications 1- Excellent leader who inspires other to succeed 2- Very strong communication skills, takes others’ perspectives into account when communicating, negotiating or presenting arguments 3- Excels in identifying new areas of opportunities 4- Demonstrates strong negotiating skills 5- Excellent leader who inspires other to succeed 6- Very strong communication skills, takes others’ perspectives into account when communicating, negotiating or presenting arguments 7- Excels in identifying new areas of opportunities 8- Demonstrates strong negotiating skills 9- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or accounting or any relevant discipline 10- + 10 Years of experience in a similar position 11- Experience with local/regional firms is a must
